“Goldfinger” lyric video

The James Bond film theme receives a dramatic reworking as lead single of Laura Ainsworth's fourth studio album You Asked For It. Created by filmmaker Austin Reed, the video was premiered by music journal Rock and Roll Globe on February 5, 2023. “Just as this arrangement of ‘Goldfinger’ doesn’t reference Bond themes, I wanted the video to avoid specific visual references to Bond as well,” Laura commented. The video plays like a 1940s film noir movie, and, as Laura stated, “turned out exactly right.”

Originally by Tony Bennett, this song beautifully summarizes Laura’s “mission statement” of bringing the elegance, class and romance of the last century forward to today. The video was the 2019 AMG Heritage Awards’ winner in the “Best Video” category.
